Google Page rank and algorithm
Hi All , a few things about google algorithm updates and page rank as now every one is aware that Google updated algorithm two time in only two months and the first change effected only 2% according to the Matt Cutt but this time it effected almost 15% and more, so the dummy contents got punished . content farms and articles spinners got bad results.

Yes i agree with you. New google panda release was part of Google's determination to improve the quality of its search results and improve user experience by eliminating websites that contain low-quality content.
Almost immediately, content farms and other websites with poorly written, keyword-stuffed information lost rank or disappeared completely from Google search results.
Google update happened earlier within the month, it now confirmed that Google have once again rolled out their Google panda algorithm at 24th time, it affected 1.2% English query.

You will not be given extra marks, nor will people using third-party code for their pagerank algorithm lose marks. I have been clear about this from the start: groups are allowed to use 3rd party pagerank implementations.

PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page. PageRank can be calculated for collections of documents of any size. It is assumed in several research papers that the distribution is evenly divided among all documents in the collection at the beginning of the computational process. The PageRank computations require several passes, called "iterations", through the collection to adjust approximate PageRank values to more closely reflect the theoretical true value.
A probability is expressed as a numeric value between 0 and 1. A 0.5 probability is commonly expressed as a "50% chance" of something happening. Hence, a PageRank of 0.5 means there is a 50% chance that a person clicking on a random link will be directed to the document with the 0.5 PageRank.
